RankMatic ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website rankmatic.io and the application at app.rankmatic.io (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Google Analytics Data: With your explicit authorization, we access your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property data and Google Search Console data through the Google APIs. This access is read-only. We do not modify, delete, or write any data to your Google Analytics or Search Console accounts.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including conversations with the AI assistant, queries made, and features used.
User-Created Content: This includes knowledge base documents, business events, custom instructions, and feedback you provide within the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To analyze your GA4 and Search Console data on your behalf, as requested through the AI chat interface
- To generate reports, insights, and visualizations based on your analytics data
- To improve the AI analysis quality through your feedback and custom instructions
- To track time savings and usage metrics for your account
- To communicate with you about the Service
RankMatic's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide and improve the Service's user-facing features. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell Google user data to third parties.
3. Google User Data - Limited Use Disclosure
RankMatic accesses the following Google user data with your consent:
- Google Analytics Data (read-only): Website traffic metrics, user behavior data, event data, and property configuration from your GA4 accounts
- Google Search Console Data (read-only): Search performance data including queries, clicks, impressions, and page-level metrics
- Basic Profile Information: Name, email address, and profile picture for authentication
We limit our use of this data to providing and improving the Service. Specifically:
- We do not sell your Google user data to third parties
- We do not use your Google user data for advertising purposes
- We do not use your Google user data to build user profiles for advertising
- We do not transfer your Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., AI processing)
- Human access to Google user data is limited to what is necessary for debugging, support, or legal compliance
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication via Google OAuth 2.0
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel
- Regular security reviews
Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and are used solely to access your analytics data on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and user-created content (conversations, knowledge base, instructions) for as long as your account is active. Analytics data fetched from Google APIs is processed in real time and is not permanently stored beyond what is needed to display results in your active session and conversation history.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:
- Google OAuth 2.0: For authentication and API access
- Anthropic (Claude AI): For AI-powered analysis of your analytics data. Data sent to the AI is used solely for generating your requested analysis and is subject to Anthropic's data processing policies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Revoke Google API access at any time via your Google Account settings
- Export your conversation history and knowledge base data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
